Employee Device Onboarding & Offboarding, Fully Managed.

Your HR and IT Teams Weren't Hired to Manage Device Logistics.

When a new hire starts, HR shouldn't be following up on laptop status. When someone leaves, IT shouldn't be chasing down hardware returns. Both of your teams are burning time on a problem that should never land on their desks.

Code Blue DeviceOps™ is a managed device lifecycle service built for corporate clients and businesses with remote workforces. Think of it as Device as a Service (DaaS). We own the entire process from the moment a hire is made to the moment a device is retired, so your people can focus on what they were actually hired to do.

"Every delayed device is a delayed employee — and every delayed employee is lost productivity before Day One."

The Problem With Manual Device Management

Why Employee Device Onboarding & Offboarding Keeps Breaking Down.

Device chaos doesn't happen randomly. It happens when no one owns the process — and when IT device management is treated as an afterthought. Sound familiar?

Reactive Procurement

Devices ordered too late. New hires are waiting on laptops while productivity disappears before they've sent a single email.

Inconsistent Setups

Every employee gets a different configuration. No standards. No security baselines. No accountability for what's on each machine.

Unmanaged Inventory

No one knows what's in stock, what's deployed, or what's sitting in someone's closet. Visibility is zero until something goes wrong.

No Single Owner

IT blames HR. HR blames the vendor. The vendor blames shipping. Meanwhile, your new hire is sitting at home with no device on Day One.

Offboarding Gaps

When someone leaves, device recovery becomes a project. Hardware goes missing. Data risks emerge. Nobody has a documented process.

No Visibility for Leadership

Leaders can't see deployment status, inventory levels, or lifecycle data. Every update requires a meeting or a manual spreadsheet pull.

Code Blue DeviceOps™ vs. DIY Software Platforms

Why a Managed Service Beats a Software License.

Platforms like Rippling, Jamf, and Kandji give your internal IT team a dashboard to manage devices themselves. Code Blue DeviceOps™ does the work for you. That's a fundamentally different value — and when you do the real math, it's often the more cost-effective choice.

The Real Cost of "Cheaper" Software

A platform like Rippling might cost $25–$50 per employee per month — but that's just the software. Add the fully-loaded cost of the IT staff time required to actually run it (procurement, configuration, QA, shipping, offboarding recovery) and you're often looking at a part-time to full-time internal role. Code Blue DeviceOps™ replaces that cost with a predictable, fixed monthly service — and removes the operational headache entirely.

What Our Managed Device Service Means for Your Business

Say YES to Employee Device Onboarding That Actually Works.

  • New hires ready on Day One. Devices arrive pre-configured, secured, and shipped. No scrambling, no delays, no excuses.

  • Clean offboarding, every time. We coordinate device recovery so your team doesn't have to chase departing employees for hardware returns.

  • Scales as you grow. Whether you're onboarding 5 or 50 people a month, the process stays smooth without adding internal burden.
  • Security enforced from Day One. MDM, encryption, and security policies applied before every device ships.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Managed Device Lifecycle Services.

Is this the same as IT support?

No. Code Blue DeviceOps™ is operational infrastructure — not a help desk. We manage the lifecycle of your devices, not day-to-day end-user support tickets. Additional IT support services can be scoped separately.

What if we already have an internal IT team?

DeviceOps works alongside your existing IT team. We handle the operational device lifecycle so your internal team can focus on higher-value work. Many clients use DeviceOps as a co-managed solution.

Do we need to maintain device inventory?

Yes — to guarantee SLA timelines, clients maintain an agreed-upon minimum inventory level. If inventory drops below threshold, SLA timelines may pause. We help you determine the right threshold during onboarding.

What devices can we use?

All devices are selected from pre-approved models to ensure consistent builds, security compliance, and reliable support. We work with you during onboarding to establish your approved hardware standards.

How does billing work?

Hardware and accessories are invoiced in advance. Services are billed monthly, and per-device deployment fees are invoiced based on monthly activity. Initial contract term is 12 months.

How quickly can we get started?

Onboarding takes approximately 5 weeks from contract signing to full operational launch. We'll walk you through the specifics during your free consultation.

Do you only work with businesses in Colorado?

No. Code Blue DeviceOps™ is built specifically for companies with remote and distributed workforces, which means we ship and manage devices nationwide. Whether your employees are in Denver, Dallas, or Boston, we handle procurement, configuration, deployment, and recovery regardless of location. Our physical operations are based in Broomfield, Colorado, but our clients are across the country.

We already have offices in multiple states. Can DeviceOps handle that?

Yes. Multi-location and geographically distributed organizations are exactly who DeviceOps was designed for. Whether you're shipping devices to a single remote employee or coordinating deployments across ten states, the process is the same: standardized, tracked, and handled by us. Offboarding recovery works the same way regardless of where the employee is located.
